Amy Gadiaga
Amy Gadiaga is a bassist, singer, and composer from the Parisian suburbs, based in London. She graduated from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, where she studied double bass and won several awards, including a Royal Philharmonic Society prize. In 2019, she was nominated for Jazz Newcomer by the Parliamentary Jazz Awards.
Gadiaga's performances celebrate art and freedom, blending old-school jazz traditions with modern influences. She has performed at prestigious festivals such as We Out Here, Cheltenham Jazz Festival, Montreux Jazz Festival, and London Jazz Festival. Gadiaga has received support from Jazz FM, been interviewed by the BBC, and was selected by Jamz Supernova as an "artist to watch."
