Turnstile

A gritty, hard-hitting, and youth-driven hardcore punk unit with heart from Baltimore, Maryland, Turnstile's blend of vintage American hardcore and blistering, groove-laden metalcore is both sonically and ideologically sound. Emerging in 2010, the band issued their debut full-length effort, Non Stop Feeling, in 2015. After inking a deal with Roadrunner, the group released the acclaimed Time & Space, followed in 2021 by the Grammy-nominated Glow On. In 2025, Turnstile returned with their fourth studio album, Never Enough.Formed in 2010 around the talents of vocalist Brendan Yates, bassist Franz Lyons, drummer Daniel Fang, and guitarists Brady Ebert and Sean Cullen, Turnstile issued a pair of EPs -- Pressure to Succeed (2011) and Step 2 Rhythm (2013) -- before signing with Reaper Records and releasing their debut full-length, Non Stop Feeling, in 2015. The following year, the band issued the Move Thru Me EP, which included three new originals and a cover of "Fu#k Me Blind" by Washington, D.C.'s Give. The full-length Time & Space followed in 2018 and marked the group's debut outing for Roadrunner Records. Three years later, Turnstile returned with the dynamic Glow On, which included two psych pop-tinged songs featuring Dev Hynes (aka Blood Orange). The LP's assured blend of pit-inducing hardcore and melodic '90s alt-rock garnered international acclaim, charting in multiple countries. The songs "Holiday" and "Blackout" earned Grammy nominations for Best Rock and Metal Performance, respectively. Longtime guitarist Brady Ebert left the fold the following year, making way for Meg Mills, who made her studio debut on 2025's assured Never Enough, which saw Turnstile add more electronics and moody melodies to their dynamic brand of punk, metal, alternative rock, and classic hardcore.
