Worm

Worm is a black/death/doom metal project from Florida, formed in 2012 by vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Phantom Slaughter. The band is known for its fusion of cavernous death metal, funereal doom and icy black metal, creating an occult and supernatural sound. Worm debuted with the self-released albums The Deep Dark Earth Underlies All (2014) and Nights in Hell (2016), before expanding with the addition of Equimanthorn on keyboards and drums for the album Evocation of the Black Marsh (2017), released under the Iron Bonhead Productions label. After the release of Gloomlord in 2020 and the departure of Equimanthorn, guitarists Nihilistic Manifesto and Wroth Septentrion (Philippe Tougas) joined Worm, who released the albums Foreverglade (2021), Starpath with Dream Unending (2023) and Necropalace (2026).
