After their debut album, Legacy, which was both a calling-card and a manifesto for both festive and experimental music, the Strasbourg-based trio Emile Londonien boldly reaffirm their personality and leadership within the new wave of European jazz. This vast generational movement is reshaping the genre by fusing it with elements of pop and urban music trends from the past thirty years. Still comprised of Nils Boyny (aka Midva) on piano, keyboards, and synths, Théo Tritsch on guitar and bass, and Matthieu Drago on drums and percussion, Emile Londonien are strengthening the foundations of their personal brand through a series of original groove-heavy compositions. Drawing inspiration from breakbeat, dub, house and R&B, they continue to expand their expressive and aesthetic scope by welcoming a whole constellation of artists who pull the trio's sound in a wide variety of directions.

Whether it’s saxophonists Laurent Bardainne, Jowee Omicil, and Leon Phal, bringing a soul-jazz flavor with film score accents to "Crossing Path," or vocal stars from the new British jazz scene like Cherise on "Easy" and "Shades", and Ashley Henry on "Onto Another Galaxy", the trio is further strengthening its ties to the London scene’s hybrid energy. With each track, Emile Londonien showcases their growing mastery of contemporary neo-jazz fusion, blending technical expertise with fresh creativity.
